Sub :Guidelines for Practical Training for Surveyors and Loss Assessors 

I. प्रारंभिक /Preliminary 

इस दिशानिर्देशमेंसर्वेक्षक औरहानिनिर्धारक केरूप में कार्यकरने के लिएनए/नवीकरणलाइसेंसप्राप्त करनेहेतुव्यवहारिकप्रशिक्षण कीविस्तृत प्रक्रियानिर्धारित कीगई है।

Theseguidelines set out the detailed procedure for practical training for obtainingfresh / renewal licence to act as a surveyor and loss assessor. 

यहदिशानिर्देशआईआरडीएआईअधिनियम, 1999 कीधारा 14 औरभारतीय बीमाविनियामक औरविकास प्राधिकरण(बीमासर्वेक्षकोंऔर हानिनिर्धारकों),विनियम, 2015 केविनियम 28 औरउसकेसंशोधनों के संबंधमें जारी किएजा रहे हैं।

Theseguidelines are being issued in terms of Sec.14 of IRDAI Act, 1999 and in termsof Regulation 28 of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India(Insurance Surveyors and Loss Assessors) Regulations, 2015 and amendmentsthereof. 

II.  नए आवेदकों (पहली बार सर्वेक्षकों और हानि निर्धारकों लाइसेंस के लिए आवेदनकरने वाले) 

FreshApplicants (applying for Surveyor and Loss Assessor Licence for the firsttime) 

1. आवेदक निम्नलिखितको प्राप्तकरने के बादबीमासर्वेक्षक औरहानिनिर्धारक केरूप में कार्यकरने के लिएनए लाइसेंसप्राप्त करनेहेतुनिर्धारितव्यावहारिकप्रशिक्षणपूरा करेंगे।

TheApplicants shall complete the prescribed practical training for obtaining freshLicense to act as Insurance Surveyor and Loss Assessor after having fulfilledthe following:

क.    आवेदक को विनियम, 2020 की अनुसूची 1 में निर्धारित अर्हता मानदंडों का अनुपालन 

करनाआवश्यक होगा। 

a. The applicant must comply with thequalification criteria set out in the schedule 1 of the Regulations, 2020. 

ख.    भारतीय बीमा संस्थान की लिखित परीक्षा के लिए आईआरडीएआई में नामांकन करना होगाऔर परीक्षा उत्तीर्णकरना होगा।

b. Shall enroll with IRDAIfor the written examination with Insurance Institute of India and qualify inthe examination. 

ग.      आवेदक को अपने आप को आईआईआईएसएलएके साथ छात्र सदस्य के रूप में नामांकित

करनाहोगा।

c.  The applicantshould enroll himself / herself as Student Member with IIISLA. 

2. प्राधिकरण में नामांकित छात्र सदस्य नामांकन की तारीख से तीन साल की अवधि के भीतर परीक्षा  पास करेंगे और प्रशिक्षण पूराकरेंगे। 

The StudentMember enrolled with the Authority shall pass the examination and completetraining within a period of three years from the date of enrolment. 

3. आवेदक को इनमें सेकिसी एक सेव्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण भी प्राप्तकरना होगा 

The applicantshall then undergo practical training either 

क. 2महीने के लिए भारतीय बीमा संस्थान/राष्ट्रीय बीमा अकादमी/आईआरडीएआई द्वारा समय-समयपर अनुमोदित किसी अन्य संस्थान के साथ  

a) for 2 months with InsuranceInstitute of India / National Insurance Academy / any other institutionapproved by the IRDAI from time totime           

                                                                 (अथवा/Or) 

ख. इंटर्नशिप के माध्यम से6 महीने के लिए किसी भी बीमासर्वेक्षक और हानिनिर्धारक के साथ,

जिसके पास संबंधित विभाग में कम से कम 8 साल का अनुभव हो। 

b. through internship for 6 months with anyInsurance Surveyor and Loss assessor who has at least 8 years’ experience inthe concerned department. 

4. अनुमोदित संस्थान/बीमा सर्वेक्षक और हानि निर्धारक सफल उम्मीदवारों को "प्रशिक्षण मूल्यांकन 

सह पूर्णता प्रमाण पत्र" देंगे। 

The approvedInstitute / insurance Surveyor and Loss Assessor shall give “Trainingevaluation cum completion certificate” to the successful candidates. 

5. छात्र सदस्यको लाइसेंसप्राप्त करनेके लिए “प्रशिक्षणमूल्यांकन सहपूर्णताप्रमाण पत्र” आईआरडीएआईको प्रस्तुतकरना होगा।

The studentmember shall submit the “Training evaluation cum completion certificate” toIRDAI for issue of licence. 

III. बीमा सर्वेक्षक और हानि निर्धारकद्वारा अतिरिक्त विभागों में लाइसेंस की मांगहेतु: 

InsuranceSurveyor and Loss Assessor seeking licence in additional departments: 

1. आवेदक निम्नलिखित को पूरा करने के बाद, प्रत्येक अतिरिक्त विभागों में लाइसेंस प्राप्त करने के लिए 

निर्धारित व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण पूरा करेंगे: 

TheApplicants shall complete the prescribed practical training for obtaininglicense in each of the additional departments, after having fulfilled thefollowing: 

क. आवेदक को विनियमों,2020 की अनुसूची1 में निर्धारितअर्हता मानदंडोंका अनुपालन करना

 होगा। 

a. Theapplicant must comply with the qualification criteria set out in the schedule 1of the Regulations, 2020. 

ख. भारतीय बीमा संस्थान में लिखित परीक्षा के लिए आईआरडीएआई के पास नामांकन करना होगा और परीक्षा उत्तीर्णकरनी होगी। 

b  Shall enroll withIRDAI for the written examination with Insurance Institute of India and qualifyin the examination 

2. आवेदक को बाद मेंइनमें से किसीएक से व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण प्राप्तकरना होगा,

The applicantshall then undergo practical training either, 

क.     2सप्ताह के लिएभारतीय बीमा संस्थान/राष्ट्रीय बीमा अकादमी/प्राधिकरण द्वारा समय-समयपर अनुमोदित किसी अन्य संस्थान के साथ  

(a) for 2weeks with Insurance Institute of India / National Insurance Academy / anyother institution approved by the Authority from time to time 

(अथवा /Or)

ख.              इंटर्नशिप के माध्यम से6 महीने के लिए किसी भी बीमा सर्वेक्षकऔर हानि निर्धारक के साथ,

जिसके पास संबंधित विभाग में कम से कम 8 साल का अनुभव हो 

b) throughinternship for 8 weeks for each department with any Insurance Surveyor and LossAssessor who has at least 8 years’ experience in the concerned department. 

3. अनुमोदित संस्थान/बीमा सर्वेक्षक और हानि निर्धारक सफल उम्मीदवारों को प्रशिक्षणमूल्यांकन सह

  पूर्णता प्रमाण पत्र देंगे।

The approvedInstitute / Insurance Surveyor and Loss Assessor shall give training evaluationcum completion certificate to the successful candidates. 

4. आवेदक संशोधित लाइसेंस जारी करने के लिए प्रशिक्षण मूल्यांकन सह पूर्णता प्रमाण पत्र 

आईआरडीएआई को प्रस्तुत करेंगे।  

The applicantshall submit the training evaluation cum completion certificate to IRDAI forissuance of modified license 

IV. यह सक्षम प्राधिकारी के अनुमोदन से जारी किया जाता है 

This isissued with the approval of Competent Authority
