स्‍वास्‍थ्‍यबीमासंविदाओं मेंजहां कमरे केकिराए के लिएउपसीमा है, यदिपालिसीधारक,अपनीपात्रता सेउच्‍च टैरिफके कमरे मेंरहता है तबउत्‍पादडिज़ाइन कीशर्त पर, स्‍वास्‍थ्‍यबीमा उत्‍पाद, विभिन्‍नसंबद्धचिकित्‍सा व्‍ययोंके संबंध में, आनुपालिकवसूली की शर्तरख सकते हैं। एकरूपतासुनिश्चितकरने के लिए, उसस्थिति में जबपालिसीधारकपालिसी केअंतर्गतपात्रता सीमासे उच्‍चतरकिराये केकमरे के विकल्‍पका चयन करताहैं तो स्‍वास्‍थ्‍यबीमा दावोंमें आनुपालिककटौतियों कोलागू करते हुएएक समान तरीकाअपनाना वांछित है। इसउद्देश्‍य केसाथ, आनुपातिककटौतियाँकरने के संबंधमें मानदण्‍डजारी करने काप्रस्‍ताव हैऔर उसके साथ एकप्रारूप –परिपत्रसंलग्‍न है।

ModifiedGuidelines on Product filing in Health Insurance Business - Norms onProportionate Deductions

Inthe health insurance contracts where there is a sub limit for room rent, in theevent policyholder occupying a room with higher tariff, than the one that he iseligible, health insurance products, subject to product design, may stipulaterecovery of proportionate deductions in respect of various associated medicalexpenses. In order to ensure uniformity. it is desired to put in place auniform approach while applying proportionate deductions in health insuranceclaims when policyholders opt for room with a higher rent than the eligiblelimit under the policy. With this objective it is proposed to issue norms onmaking proportionate deductions and a draft circular is herewith attached.

Allstakeholders are requested to forward their comments/suggestions on theproposed guidelines in the attached format.
