सभीसाधारण/जीवन/स्टैंड-अलोनस्वास्थ्यबीमाकंपनियाँजिन्होंनेबीमापालिसियाँजारी की हैंजो उत्तर-पूर्वीदिल्ली मेंदंगा-प्रभावितक्षेत्रों केद्वाराप्रभावित होसकती हैं।

विषयःदंगों के कारणउत्तर-पूर्वीदिल्ली मेंउत्पन्नहोनेवालेबीमा दावोंसंबंधी मार्गदर्शन

1.   फरवरी, 2020के अंतिमसप्ताह केदौरानउत्तर-पूर्वीदिल्ली मेंहुए दुःखददंगों काउत्तर-पूर्वीदिल्ली मेंलोगों,संपत्ति औरव्यवसाय पर गंभीररूप से प्रभावपड़ा है।

2.   प्राधिकरणइस बात सेअवगत है किसाधारणबीमाकर्ताओं,जीवनबीमाकर्ताओंऔरस्टैंड-अलोनस्वास्थ्यबीमाकर्ताओंने ऐसीपालिसियाँअंकित कीहोंगी जोप्रभावितक्षेत्रों सेसंबंधित जीवनऔर संपत्ति कोशामिल करतीहों। इस परिस्थितिमें सभीबीमाकर्ताओंको सूचित कियाजाता है कि वेदावों के उचितऔर त्वरितनिपटान के लिएतत्काल कार्यकरें।

3.   तदनुसार,प्राधिकरणबीमाकर्ताओंको निम्नलिखितअनुदेश जारीकरता हैः

क.   एकवरिष्ठअधिकारी कोनामांकितकरें जो दिल्लीराज्य के लिएनोडल अधिकारीके रूप मेंकार्य करेगा,जो प्रभावितइलाकों मेंरिपोर्ट कियेगये सभी दावोंके निपटान कासमन्वयन/सरलीकरणकरेगा।

ख.   प्रेसमें और राज्यसरकार केमाध्यम से इसप्रयोजन केलिए स्थापितकार्यालयोंका संपर्क विवरण/ विशेषव्यवस्थाओँका विवरणप्रकाशितकरें।

ग.     दावोंके त्वरितपंजीकरण केलिए तत्कालकदम उठाएँ।

घ.    यहसुनिश्चितकरने के लिएपर्याप्तसंख्या मेंसर्वेक्षकोंको नियोजितकरें कि सभीदावों कातत्परतापूर्वकनिर्धारणकिया जाए तथादावों केभुगतान/लेखागतभुगतान 15 दिनके अंदरसंवितरितकिये जाएँ।

ङ.   आपकेद्वारा कियेगये उपायों परविधिवत् विशेषबल देते हुएप्रभावितइलाकों मेंविस्तृतजागरूकताअभियाननिर्मितकरें।

4.   हानिकी मात्रा काआकलन करने केलिए, सभी साधारण/जीवन/स्टैंड-अलोनस्वास्थ्यबीमाकर्ताओंको सूचित कियाजाता है किसंलग्नफार्मेट मेंसाप्ताहिकआधार परउत्तर-पूर्वीदिल्ली केदंगों सेसंबंधित बीमादावों संबंधीसूचनाप्रस्तुतकरें।

5.   कृपयाउपर्युक्त केसंबंध मेंदिल्ली सरकार केसाथ समन्वयकरने के लिएअतिशीघ्र कदमउठाएँ।

All General /Life / Stand-Alone-HealthInsurance Companies that issued insurance policies that may be impacted byriots affected areas in North East Delhi

Re: Guidance on Insurance Claims arising inNorth East Delhi Caused by riots

1. The tragic riots in North East Delhiduring last week of February, 2020 have had a serious impact on people,property and business in North East Delhi.

2. The Authority is aware that GeneralInsurers, Life Insurers and Stand-Alone-Health Insurers may have writtenpolicies that extend to lives and property pertaining to the affected areas. Inthis situation, all insurers are advised to act immediately for fair and speedysettlement of claims.

3. Accordingly, the Authority issues thefollowing instructions to Insurers:

a. to nominate a Senior Officer who wouldact as a nodal officer for Delhi State, who would be coordinating/facilitatingthe settlement of all the claims that are reported in the affected areas.

b. to publish in press and through StateGovernment, the contact details of offices/special arrangements set up for thispurpose.

c. to initiate immediate steps for quickregistration of claims.

d. to engage adequate number of surveyorsimmediately in the affected areas to ensure that all claims are promptly assessedexpeditiously and payments of claims/on account payments are disbursed within15 days.

e. to create extensive awareness campaignin the affected areas duly highlighting the measures taken by you.

4. In order to gauge the magnitude of loss,all General /Life / Stand-Alone-Health Insurers are advised to submitinformation relating to insurance claims related to North-East Delhi Riots onweekly basis in the format attached.

5. Please take urgent steps to co-ordinatewith Delhi Government on the above.
