IRDAI constituted aworking group to examine the concept of settlement of Personal Accident andBenefit Based Health Insurance Claims in installments vide IRDAI order refIRDA/HLT/ORD/Misc/171/10/2018 dated 12th October 2018.

The working group hassubmitted its report on 10th January 2019 and the same has been placed in theIRDAI website on 21st January 2019 for the information of all the stakeholders.

After examining therecommendations of the working group an exposure draft on the proposedGuidelines is published for seeking comments of the stakeholders. All thestakeholders are requested to offer their valuable comments/suggestions in theattached format by 17th April 2019. The comments/suggestions may be mailed toSri Md. Ayaz (md.ayaz@irda.gov.in), AGM, Health Department, IRDAI.
