Re : Appointment of Election Officer to conduct 9th Council Elections of Indian Institute of Insurance Surveyors and Loss Assessors (IIISLA) for 2 All India basis vacancies and 2 Zonal vacancies.
Pursuant to the meeting of the Board of Directors of IIISLA held on 20th February, 2015 at Marriott Hotel, Hyderabad, the following Council Members of IIISLA are due to retire by rotation.
1. Mr. R K Elango, All India basis.
2. Mr. Ashok Kumar, All India basis.
3. Mr. A.R.Ramesh, South Zone.
4. Mr. Mrinal Pathak, East Zone.
Accordingly, Authority decided to conduct the 9th Council Elections of IIISLA for 2 All India basis vacancies and 2 Zonal vacancies arising out of the above retiring Council Members.
Authority hereby appoints Mr.V.Devanathan, Head-Technical & Projects, General Insurance Council as the Election Officer for conducting the 9th Council Elections. Mr.V.Devanathan is advised to take all necessary steps to conduct the election in a smooth and fair manner and in accordance with Articles of Association (AOA) of IIISLA and IIISLA Regulations & Procedure for the conduct of elections to the Council (Election Regulations). IIISLA is hereby advised to extend all co-operation and financial assistance to conduct the elections in accordance with AOA and Election Regulations.
