Applications are invited from all eligible organizations and institutions to establish On-line and Off-line ATIs for conducting insurance agent’s pre-license training and training as mandated for the renewal of agent’s license. In this regard relevant application, check-list and existing instructions, circulars and guidelines are available on the IRDA website.
Different application forms are prescribed for establishing on-line and off-line training institutes. Hence applicants are advised to apply in relevant format only. In case an applicant desires to apply for both on-line and off-line ATI, two separate applications as prescribed are to be submitted. The applications received in formats other than the prescribed one are liable to be rejected. All applicants are advised to check their suitability as mandated by IRDA, before submitting their application for new ATI accreditation.
An application complete in all respects along with required information and documents should be submitted to the Authority. The Authority will scrutinize each application and accords accreditation to the applicants who are in compliance with statutory provisions governing accreditation and functions of ATI’s.
