PUC Certificate at the time of renewal of insurance of vehicle – Directions

Pleaserefer to the Order dated 10th August, 2017 passed by the Hon’bleSupreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) No.13029 of 1985 in M.C.MehtaVs. Union of India and Others, wherein the Hon’ble Court has directed InsuranceCompanies not to insure a vehicle unless it has a valid PUC certificate on thedate of renewal of the insurance policy.
