Consequent upon promulgation of Insurance Laws (Amendment) Act, 2015, the Authority had notified IRDAI (Appointment of Insurance Agents) Guidelines, 2015  on 26.03.2015 which came into force w.e.f. 01.04.2015. Till 31.12.2015 no material issues have been reported to the Authority pertaining to the operations of the guidelines. However some issues such as non-issuance of Cessation Certificate, Payment of Renewal Commission (ERC) and Hereditary Commission etc. have been reported. Further the Authority has also proposed to issue Regulations on payment of commission.

In view of this, all are requested to offer their comments/ suggestions on the proposed regulations for consideration of the same by the department.  The comments/ suggestions in MS-WORD format should reach us by 22^nd January, 2016  in the format appended below,  to the undersigned by e-mail at tsnaikatirdadotgovdotin.
