Modification to the Final Order bearing No. IRDA/LIFE/ORD/MISC/143/08/2015
The first sentence of the last paragraph on Page 14 of the above referred order reads as under.
“ The penalty amount of Rs 85,00,000 (Rs Eighty five lakhs only) shall be remitted by the Life Insurer by debiting the shareholder’s Account within a period of 15 days from the date of issuance of this Order through NEFT/RTGS. (details for which will be communicated separately).”
Now the same stands substituted as hereunder
“The penalty amount of Rs 85,00,000 (Rs Eighty five lakhs only) shall be remitted by the Life Insurer by debiting the shareholder’s Account within a period of 45 days from the date of issuance of this Order through NEFT/RTGS.”
