प्राधिकरण के संज्ञान में आया है कि कुछ हलकों में पॉलिसी दस्तावेजों पर कमीशन के अनिवार्य प्रकटीकरण के संबंध में चिंता व्यक्त की जा रही है। ये चिंताएं बीमा परिषदों द्वारा गठित कार्य समूहों द्वारा की गई कतिपय अनुशंसाओं से उत्पन्न होती हैं। 

            एतद्द्वारा यह स्पष्ट किया जाता है कि प्राधिकरण ने इस मामले पर कोई निर्णय नहीं लिया है। इसके अलावा, प्राधिकरण इस तरह का कोई भी निर्णय लेने से पहले सभी हितधारकों के साथ व्यापक परामर्श करेगा।

        It has come to the notice of the Authority that concerns are being expressed in some quarters regarding mandatory disclosure of commissions on the policy documents. The concerns emanate from certain recommendations made by Working Groups constituted by the Insurance Councils.

It is hereby clarified that the Authority has not taken any decision on this matter. Furthermore, the Authority will hold extensive consultations with all stakeholders before any such decision is taken.
